WHY I MAKE THIS STUFF

Learning should give you something to do besides fill in a blank.

I like lessons that ask students to investigate, create, debate, notice, question, and figure things out.

Sometimes that means a carefully designed project. Sometimes it means a ridiculous mystery involving a raccoon.

Both have their place.
